01 FAQ
A few practical details about care at Seventh Pillar Psychiatry.
Seventh Pillar Psychiatry serves adult women ages 18 and older who are wondering whether they have ADHD or AuDHD, have recently been diagnosed, or are looking for thoughtful treatment and support.
No. The ADHD or AuDHD Clarity Evaluation is for women who are looking for answers. The 90-Day Reset is for women who already have an ADHD diagnosis or co-occurring ADHD and autism, whether diagnosed elsewhere or through our evaluation process.
AuDHD is a community term for having both ADHD and autism. It is not a separate diagnosis in the DSM-5-TR. ADHD and autism are diagnosed individually, and they can occur together.
In-person appointments are available in New York City. Telehealth appointments are available throughout New York State. You must be physically located in New York at the time of your appointment.
The consultation is a free 15-minute phone conversation. It gives us an opportunity to learn what you are looking for, answer basic questions, and determine which service may be the best place to begin. It is not a diagnostic or treatment appointment.
Every new relationship begins with the free 15-minute consultation.
Seventh Pillar Psychiatry is an entirely private-pay practice and does not participate with or bill insurance. This model allows care decisions to be guided by your clinical needs rather than an insurer’s authorization requirements or visit limits.
A superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Benefits vary by plan, and reimbursement is not guaranteed. You remain responsible for the full fee.
Yes. Fees will be explained before any paid care is scheduled, so you can decide whether the service is right for you.
